Designed to avoid recoil effect on vehicles, MILDEF’s High Mobility Tactical Vehicle (HMTV) provides 120mm mortar capabilities. The deployable high mobility unit is easily operated, sustaining the effectiveness and efficiency of the mortar tube. This vehicle incorporates Alakran software that integrates its own fire control system, showing its location and different assigned targets.

The HMTV is integrated with Geographic Information System (GIS) that allows battle management and forward observer system. HMTV works in all environments including forest and desert terrains with high speed and accuracy of an electromechanical aiming system. The position to direct fire is 30 seconds with a high firing rate capacity accuracy of 2 mils, minimizing points of failure on the ground.
