Mohd. Nizam graduated with a Diploma in Engineering and founded Mildef International Technologies Sdn Bhd in 2005. He possesses proficiency and extensive experience in the military industry, heavy vehicles, and operations management. As the primary strategist and decision-maker, he received the Young Entrepreneur Award from MARA in 2005 and a certificate of appreciation from the Malaysian Civil Defence. Additionally, he was honored by His Majesty, the Most Honourable Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang, with the First Rank of Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (S.S.A.P.), carrying the title of His Excellency Dato’ Sri.

With his extensive experience in the military and administration, General Tan Sri Raja Mohamed Affandi was appointed as the 19th Chief of Defence Forces in Malaysia and is now the Advisor of MILDEF INTERNATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD.
He was directly involved in Second Malayan Emergency during his early days as an army officer. He then proceeded his military career as Aide-de-camp to Deputy Chief of Army Basic Training Centre (PUSASDA), Commander of 18th Battalion, Royal Malay Regiment (18 RAMD).
Later he was promoted to Lieutenant General and entrusted to hold Army Field Commander position.He was assigned to Chief-of-staff of Malaysian Armed Forces post. He then promoted to rank General and at the same time promoted to Chief of Army position.
He obtains Master in Defence Studies from University of New South Wales and Master of Science in Defence and Strategic Studies from Quaid-i-Azam University.
